Depending on the nature and complexity of the surgical procedure, patients often prefer to stay home and avoid prolong and costly trips to surgeon’s office.
In addition, patients oftentimes make unscheduled visits to their physician due to uncertainty, which in turn creates longer waiting times and overload for physicians. Busy surgical practices benefit from increased efficiency and decreased patient waiting room time with new patients who must come to the office or those who require in-person follow up.

HOW EVISITS WORK
If you are using your phone or tablet, download the free eVisit app. If you are using your personal computer, you can access our eVisit clinic by clicking here.
Simply input your email address, choose a password, then add some personal details about your health and your current condition.
From the app on your phone or tablet or from the eVisit link on your computer, you simply login and click “Schedule an eVisit.” You will be entered into our waiting room. When your clinician available to see you, you’ll receive an email and a text message.
You’ll be securely connected to the healthcare provider via our eVisit interface to receive your consultation and post operative aftercare.
Patient must sign consent for Telemedicine follow-up prior to service being provided. Before patients can schedule an appointment, they will need to download and register with our secure app.
If the patient isn’t a registered user, they will receive an email invitation from the provider with instructions on how to sign up. Once the patient registers, they will be automatically connected the provider. Both the patient and the provider will be sent email notifications for the appointment.
There is no service payment involved directly from patients to Extenders Group. We negotiate service fees with physicians and surgeons or clinical facilities. The use of our mobile telemedicine app is free to the patient.
