What does the eVisit app do?

The eVisit online and mobile app is an easy-to-use, secure, 2-way video platform that allows you to receive treatment from your healthcare provider anytime, anywhere for common health issues.

How does a remote visit work?

With eVisit, seeing your healthcare provider remotely is easy. If you’re a new user, the first thing you’ll do is go to our eVisit clinic and create your account. Then you’ll click the “request eVisit” button at your scheduled appointment time, and answer a few questions about your condition.

We’ll receive your request, and let you know when we’ll be ready to see you. Then, you’ll be connected to your healthcare provider via 2-way video from your computer or smartphone. Your doctor will diagnose your condition, answer your questions, and advise on the aftercare.

Is eVisit secure?

Protecting our patients’ health security is one of our top priorities. That’s why we chose eVisit to offer you a remote appointment option – the eVisit® online and mobile app is 100% secure and HIPAA-compliant.

The eVisit app was built using TrueVault, a top provider of HIPAA-compliant, data storage solutions. That means, unlike an informal video-chat service like Skype or FaceTime, anything transmitted or recorded during a remote visit is completely secure.

When you have a remote visit, you can feel safe to talk openly and confide in your doctor – just as you would with an in-person visit.
